Volleyball Recap: Hobart Wins Going Away Against River Forest

Hobart's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the River Forest Ingots with a sharp 3-0 win. The contest marked the Brickies' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-17.

Alissa Hope paced Hobart's offense, picking up ten kills. Hope got some help from Kalli Butcher and her ten assists. Butcher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The win got Hobart back to even at 4-4. As for River Forest, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Hobart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Lowell on the 28th. As for River Forest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Westville on the 30th.
