On Friday Jennings take on Affton at 6:00 PM. Jennings have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so Affton might have their hands full.
Jennings might be getting used to good results now that the team have three wins in a row. Everything went their way against Normandy last Saturday as they made off with a 43-14 victory. The lopsides score is just par for the course this season for Jennings, who can brag about five blowout wins.
After a string of three wins, Affton's good fortune finally ran out. They have to be aching after a bruising 20-44 defeat to McCluer South-Berkeley. The state rankings had actually given Affton a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Jennings's win lifted them to 5-2 while Affton's loss dropped them down to 4-3. We'll find out if Jennings can add another positive mark to their record or if Affton can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Jennings's step.
