The Pace Academy Knights can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against McDonough as Pace Academy made off with a 79-57 win. The win was familiar territory for Pace Academy who now have four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pace Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eric Chatfield, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Greene, who scored 17 points along with seven assists and six steals.
Several Warhawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keenan Gray, who scored 22 points. Zion Greene was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Pace Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for McDonough, their loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 20-3.
Pace Academy will take on Stockbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Stockbridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 460th, while Pace Academy is ranked 12th). As for McDonough, McDonough and Luella will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
