Aynor and Dillon pushed the score to 16-5 the last time they played Dillon, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Blue Jackets' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 4-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-5 two weeks ago.

Aynor has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Dillon, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aynor will head out to face off against Johnsonville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Flashes' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Blue Jackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dillon, they will head out on the road to take on Latta at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
