Baldwin have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Kamehameha Maui . It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close matchup.
If Baldwin were expecting to get some payback for the 6-49 loss against Lahainaluna the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. Baldwin have to be aching after a bruising 7-34 defeat to Lahainaluna two weeks ago. This makes it the second loss in a row for Baldwin.
Meanwhile, if Kamehameha Maui were riding high off their 42-0 takedown of King Kekaulike three weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Kamehameha Maui took a 22-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Maui.
Five weeks ago, Baldwin and Kamehameha Maui were almost perfectly matched up, but Baldwin suffered an agonizing 28-29 defeat. Can Baldwin avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
