The Falcon Falcons entered their tilt with The Classical Academy Titans with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Falcon snuck past The Classical Academy with a 64-59 victory on Wednesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Falcon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eric Graham, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Graham hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Cox, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordan Wenger, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Wenger hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Noah Osterloh was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Even though they lost, The Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Falcon's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for The Classical Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falcon will take on Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Coronado focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday. As for The Classical Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rampart at 7:00 p.m. Rampart has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 379 points over their last six matchups.
