Winchester's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Waltham Hawks as they made off with a 23-17 victory. Winchester was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .468. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waltham only posted a batting average of .300.
Winchester's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Waltham, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
Looking ahead, Winchester will head out to take on Westport at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waltham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Watertown at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
