The Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Orlando Science by a score of 45-42.
Orlando Science got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Glen Wickersham out in front who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Reyes, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Orlando Science, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Orlando Science's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Trinity Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully the Orcas like a good challenge.
