Reagan County is a perfect 3-0 against Eldorado since February of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Owls will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Reagan County will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Reagan County's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Ozona hitters got past them. The Owls had just enough and edged out the Lions 14-12. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Brooklynn Reyes made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Magaley Castillo was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1 stolen bases per game. Gabby Cervantes was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Reagan County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Eldorado came up short against Sonora on Thursday, falling 22-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost three in a row.
Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Reagan County, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.
Reagan County beat Eldorado 9-6 when the teams last played back in February. Will the Owls repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
