The South Kitsap Wolves will head out to challenge the Bonney Lake Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Kitsap is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when South Kitsap and Emerald Ridge meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Wolves fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wolves have suffered since April 1, 2024.

Hannah Roebuck made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Maleah Sawyers, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bonney Lake's offense. They fell just short of Rogers by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aspyn Evanson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Bonney Lake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zhosi Pool, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Bonney Lake's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for South Kitsap, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

South Kitsap's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's matchup. The Wolves have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game.
