Mountain Grove Christian Academy was dealt a 72-40 loss at the hands of Maranatha Baptist Academy on Tuesday. Mountain Grove Christian Academy has struggled against Maranatha Baptist Academy recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Maranatha Baptist Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Clarence Brown out in front who scored 21 points. Brown has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Rush, who scored 18 points.
Mountain Grove Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Maranatha Baptist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
