The Bayshore Bruins had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They breezed by Sarasota Military Academy at home to the tune of 75-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Bayshore has posted yet this season.
William Strawbridge was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. His trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Demetrios Kimon, who scored 11 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.
Bayshore's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11. As for Sarasota Military Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Bayshore won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Booker at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Averaging 58.4 so far this season, Booker's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Bayshore better be ready for a challenge. Sarasota Military Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against The Classical Academy of Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
