After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centerpoint, Caddo Hills was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Western Yell County Wolverines 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since March 11, 2024.

Caddo Hills' victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Western Yell County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season.

Caddo Hills will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kirby at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Western Yell County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Scranton on the 21st.
