Marist waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Junction City Tigers as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Marist's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Junction City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Marist will have a chance to go back-to-back against Junction City: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
