Diego Jimenez-Arellano put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Franklinton is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-10 otherwise.

Jimenez-Arellano and Franklinton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southern Nash at 6:30 p.m. on the 15th.
