Holston had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past Eastern Montgomery with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 25-8. That result is just more of the same for Holston, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Holston a 1-0 record and starting Eastern Montgomery off at 0-1.
Next week, Holston take on Twin Springs at 7:00 PM. As for Eastern Montgomery, they will face of against Hurley.
