TERRA Environmental and Ferguson are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. TERRA Environmental is taking a road trip to challenge Ferguson at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
On Tuesday, TERRA Environmental had just enough and edged out Schoolhouse Prep 5-3.
Jaime Estevez looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. David Fraga also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ferguson). They won by a run and slipped past Keys Gate 8-7. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by just one run.
Chris Sierra was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Davin Vigoa, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Ferguson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Ferguson pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for TERRA Environmental, their record now sits at 3-4.
TERRA Environmental skirted past Ferguson 7-6 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for TERRA Environmental since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
