Blackwell won against Marathon on Thursday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Blackwell Hornets beat the Marathon Mustangs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 57-22. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Blackwell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.9 points over those games. As for Marathon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.
