Jay County extended their winning streak to eight on Thursday, bumping them up to 15-2. They never let Heritage get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Jay County's pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last four contests.
Heritage's batters probably weren't too happy with Carley Trinidad, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 20 Ks (she gave up four walks). Trinidad has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Hallie Schwieterman was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Ruble, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.
