Cascade had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sweet Home Huskies a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. Cascade have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Sweet Home, too.

Cascade's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Sweet Home, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
