Murphy won the last time they faced Robbinsville and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Black Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Peyton Bain and Aayden Williams did most of the damage at the plate: Bain scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Williams scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Adam Cook, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

They weren't the only one making solid contact: Murphy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Robbinsville only managed six hits.

Murphy's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Robbinsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Murphy will look to defend their home field on Monday against Towns County at 5:00 p.m. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.57 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Robbinsville, they will face off against Swain County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
