Mayfield had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-35 W against the Ballard Memorial Bombers. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Bombers back in January, they had to take a 61-58 defeat.

Mayfield's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Ballard Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 18-11.

Coming up, Mayfield will take on Graves County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Graves County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mayfield surely won't give up without a fight. Ballard Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
