Sparta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chester Yellowjackets. Even though they lost, Sparta smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive matches.

Sparta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chester, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-31 defeat against Benton on the 15th.
