On Wednesday, Bluffton beat Islands 55-46. With that win, Bluffton brought their scoring average up to 51.5 points per game.
Bluffton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carnell Warren led the charge by scoring 15 points along with five steals. Maciah Hamilton was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Bluffton and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Islands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bluffton will take on Hilton Head Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Hilton Head Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Tuesday. As for Islands, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Memorial Day at 7:30 p.m. on December 1st.
