The Rouse Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lehman Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rouse has four straight victories, Lehman has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Tuesday, Rouse didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Leander, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Rouse has scored all year.
Rouse had a senior duo take command as Amarie Haywood scored 14 points along with six rebounds and Devin Brown scored 14 points. Jojo Moore was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six assists and three steals.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 32-32 at halftime, Lehman was not quite Cedar Park's equal in the second half on Friday. Lehman fell 63-54 to Cedar Park. While losing is never fun, Lehman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 942nd, while Cedar Park is ranked 243rd).
Rouse has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Lehman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Rouse against Lehman in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 82-33 victory. With Rouse ahead 47-11 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
