The Carroll County Panthers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They snuck past Valley with a 39-33 win.
Carroll County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grayson Kinman, who scored 7 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Butcher, who scored 7 points along with 3 blocks.
Carroll County's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carroll County will face off against Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Atherton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
