Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brownwood). They blew past the Ingleside Mustangs, posting a 62-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 1039th).

The win made it two in a row for Brownwood and bumps their season record up to 3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 10 points in those games. As for Ingleside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Brownwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 42-39 win against Lampasas on the 10th. As for Ingleside, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 33-7 loss against Robstown on the 10th.
