A well-balanced attack led the Bethel Baptist Academy Miners over Varsity Opponent in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Bethel Baptist Academy took down Varsity Opponent 58-43. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bethel Baptist Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bethel Baptist Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zahyir Davis, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. Davis is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Nathan Stahl, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Bethel Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 320-1223-2.
Bethel Baptist Academy will head out on the road to take on Solid Rock Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Shabach Christian Academy Blue at 5:30 p.m.
