Preuss UCSD is 3-0 against School for Entrepreneurship & Technology since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Preuss UCSD Tritons will take on the School for Entrepreneurship & Technology Lions at 5:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Thursday, Preuss UCSD came up short against Ocean View Christian and fell 30-21. The Tritons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Preuss UCSD's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Afi Torgby, who posted nine points, and Rediet Neme, who had eight points. That was a full 38.1% of Preuss UCSD's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, School for Entrepreneurship & Technology was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 43-37 to High Tech NC.

Preuss UCSD will need focus on slowing down Kameron Owens, one of several School for Entrepreneurship & Technology players who made an impact when they last played. She put up 18 points along with five boards and three steals. Those 18 points gave Owens a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anicka Redondo, who earned nine points and seven rebounds.

Preuss UCSD's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-10. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they dropped their record down to 7-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Preuss UCSD won a match that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting two weeks ago, slipping by School for Entrepreneurship & Technology 26-25. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Owens, who posted 14 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. Now that she's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Preuss UCSD still be able to contain Owens? There's only one way to find out.
