Basketball Recap: Jackson North Side Skates Past Liberty Tech Magnet with Ease

Jackson North Side won the last time they faced Liberty Tech Magnet and things went their way on Friday too. The Jackson North Side Indians claimed a resounding 61-21 victory over the Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Jackson North Side's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lincoln Woods, who posted 17 points. The matchup was Woods' ninth in a row with at least ten points. Javonte Smith was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Jackson North Side's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Liberty Tech Magnet, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Jackson North Side wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-42 win against Covington on the 26th. As for Liberty Tech Magnet, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
