The biggest upset of the week belonged to Whitney, who took down 162nd ranked Whitney, 35-27. Tyler Winston ran for 119 yards and caught four passes for 92 yards in the win.
Antelope extended the longest winning streak in Capital this week by beating the Wildcats, 35-27. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Tyler McCombs and Jonathan Crippes gave Antelope a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. McCombs threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns, while Crippes ran for 174 yards.
Francis Kim made the biggest impact on defense this week as Whitney lost to Matt Ray's team. The 5-foot-11 senior grabbed one interception and forced one fumble.
Herman Thomas was the best wideout in the league this week as El Camino beat Rio Americano. Thomas racked up two receptions for 126 yards. Brady Carlson helped El Camino's passing attack out by catching one ball for 23 yards.
The Titans' McCombs and Winston have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McCombs has thrown for 1645 yards this season, while Winston has 45 catches for 678 yards. Sutter Choisser from Mike Gimenez's team leads the league in rushing with 1212 yards.
Mira Loma moved up to 709 from 742 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Capital. The Matadors were able to make move up by besting Cordova 35-6.
