Jefferson won the last time they met up with Des Moines North, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Jefferson blew past Des Moines North 34-12. The win was a breath of fresh air for Jefferson as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The victory bumped Jefferson's record up to 2-5. Des Moines North are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Jefferson will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Ames. After those two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune. As for Des Moines North, they will face off against Urbandale. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
