Basketball Recap: Midland Classical Academy Piles Up the Points Against Prince of Peace

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Midland Classical Academy walked away with it. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 71-16 victory over the Prince of Peace Eagles. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matches by 26 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Addie Dunn, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and ten boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaleigh Sherrill, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Midland Classical Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Midland Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Prince of Peace, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Coming up, Midland Classical Academy will venture away from home to challenge Lake Country Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Midland Classical Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season. Prince of Peace does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
