Rivera waltzed into their game on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They put the hurt on the Pace Vikings with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Marcos Guerrero made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in eight consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three).

In other batting news, Andres Rocha was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Gilbert Moreno was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

Rivera hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pace struck out eight times.

Rivera's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Pace, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.

Rivera will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
