The Creekview Mustangs entered their tilt with the Adams Cougars with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Creekview managed a 71-65 victory over Adams on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keiontay marsh, who scored 25 points. Marsh scored a full 38.5% of Adams' points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Altrie Farris, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Creekview has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Adams, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekview will take on Ranchview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Adams is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Alvarado at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. Alvarado presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Adams in Texas (Alvarado is ranked 133rd, while Adams is ranked 582nd).
