Kenny Purvis ran for two touchdowns and
Hasaan Klugh added three as well as
Central Cabarrus (Concord, N.C.) bested Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, N.C.) 42-7 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Purvis touchdown run in the first quarter, the Vikings led 28-0 at the half.
With the win Central Cabarrus extended its winning streak to five games. Central Cabarrus defeated East Rowan 48-21 last week.
Northwest Cabarrus' only touchdown came on a 2-yard run by Brandon White in the third quarter.
CC entered the contest giving up 21.9 points per game this year.
