Baseball Recap: Seckman's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

The Seckman Jaguars didn't have quite enough to beat the Kirkwood Pioneers on Thursday and fell 4-3.

Seckman's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8. As for Kirkwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seckman will challenge Rockwood Summit at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kirkwood, they will face off against Fort Zumwalt West at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 3.1, the Jaguars 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
