Homestead has gone 8-2 against Fremont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mustangs will take on the Firebirds at 4:00 p.m. Homestead is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Homestead barely beat Mountain View the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.
Mountain View's batters probably weren't too happy with Mackenzie Smith, who pitched a no hitter and racked up six Ks (she gave up zero walks). Smith has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
