The Plato Eagles had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 57-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lebanon. Plato has not had much luck with Lebanon recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Lebanon was led to victory by Morgan Durbin and Bodie Cox. Durbin scored 15 points along with three steals, while Cox scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Durbin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Myers, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Plato's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lebanon, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.
Plato will head out on the road to take on Fordland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lebanon, Lebanon and Belle will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
