The Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers lost against the Prairie Central Hawks back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Paxton-Buckley-Loda ended up on the wrong side of a rough 69-46 walloping at the hands of the Hawks. Paxton-Buckley-Loda has not had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Tyler Curl was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds for Prairie Central. Curl has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Gage Steidinger was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six assists and two steals.
Paxton-Buckley-Loda's defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Prairie Central, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
