Even though the Warren Central Vikings scored an imposing 72 points on Tuesday, the Neshoba Central Rockets still came out on top. Neshoba Central took their match against Warren Central 82-72. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Neshoba Central.
It was another big night for Jordan Ben, who scored 22 points. The game was his 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Bell, who scored 15 points.
Neshoba Central's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Warren Central, they bumped their record down to 9-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neshoba Central will face off against Ridgeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ridgeland's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Warren Central will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Callaway at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Hopefully Callaway focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Wednesday.
