The Enka Jets struggled with offensive rebounds on Tuesday (the A.C. Reynolds Rockets had ten more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Enka suffered a rough 78-53 loss at the hands of the Rockets. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Enka in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now lost four in a row.
Enka's loss came despite strong showings from Logan Trantham and Sam Waddell. Trantham scored 29 points, while Waddell scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trantham has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead A.C. Reynolds to victory, but perhaps none more so than Declan Brown, who scored 17 points along with four steals. Kaelan Gilliland was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Enka's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for A.C. Reynolds, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing T.C. Roberson the next time they take the court. A.C. Reynolds will head out to face T.C. Roberson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Enka will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
