Riverside-Durham's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Chapel Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.
Riverside-Durham came up short against the Tigers when the teams last played back in January, falling 51-46. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Chapel Hill's Franklin Johnson, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
