Uxbridge has won 15 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Bay Path RVT has won 15 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Spartans will welcome the Minutemen at 3:30 p.m. Uxbridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.
Uxbridge's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Hopedale with a sharp 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Erin O'Day was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over 6.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lola Grube, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Bailey Dzivasen, who went 1-for-3 with four runs.
Meanwhile, Bay Path RVT didn't have quite enough to beat Oxford last Thursday and fell 5-4.
Olivia Burgos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits.
On the hitting side, Bay Path RVT saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Sepulveda, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Uxbridge's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Bay Path RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Uxbridge hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.2 home runs per game. However, it's not like Bay Path RVT struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Uxbridge's way against Bay Path RVT when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Uxbridge made off with a 12-2 win. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Minutemen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
