The Southwest Onslow Stallions put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Wallace-Rose Hill 63-24 at home. Southwest Onslow has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.
Southwest Onslow's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Yamorie Hardison, who almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, nine assists, and ten steals. Hardison is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Oriyanna Galloway, who scored 19 points along with seven steals.
Southwest Onslow pushed their record up to 20-0 with that win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.5 points. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
Southwest Onslow will head out on the road to challenge James Kenan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Kinston at 6:30 p.m. on February 9th. Kinston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
