Peyton Kirk made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Riverside is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 4-8 otherwise. Kirk was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
