If Chapin wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Franklin, they should've done a better job of containing Allison De La O. The Cougars walked away with a 41-31 win over the Huskies on Thursday thanks in part to De La O, who posted 18 points along with seven boards and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Giselle Villarreal, who scored 12 points and five rebounds. Villarreal continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Summer Blackwell was another key player, putting up six points and nine boards.

The victory got Franklin back to even at 8-8. As for Chapin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 86-26 win against El Paso on the 11th. As for Chapin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-34 victory against Pebble Hills on the 11th.
