Make it ten blowout wins for the Brownstown Bombers this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Wayne City 64-25 at home. The victory was nothing new for Brownstown as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Brownstown found their leader in underclassman Dayana Haslett, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Seabaugh, who scored 13 points.
Wayne City's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Greenlea Vaughan, who scored 12 points along with six steals and two blocks, and Kenna Anselment who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Brownstown pushed their record up to 18-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Wayne City, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Brownstown will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wayne City at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Wayne City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Monday. As for they, they will head out on the road to challenge Brownstown at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Brownstown's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
