The Marion Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 71-26 win over Bracken Christian. The win was familiar territory for Marion who now have four in a row.
Marion can attribute much of their success to Braeden Fleming, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Rayos, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Marion's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Bracken Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-6.
Marion and Johnson City will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Johnson City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday. Bracken Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Florence at 1:00 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Florence is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
