C. Milton Wright got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyle Ashman out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. The game was Ashman's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Sander, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
C. Milton Wright's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Lake Clifton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
C. Milton Wright will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Great Mills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Great Mills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 96th, while C. Milton Wright is ranked 18th). Lake Clifton will finish 2023 at home by hosting McDonogh at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. McDonogh has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
